Installing Windows Media Player
- READ THIS POINT FIRST - you may be able to skip the remaining steps.
Windows Media Player is supplied with the Windows Operating System (Windows
95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows NT 4, Windows XP,
Windows Vista) - but the player version will vary. Windows Media Player
7.1 and later can play all of the current codecs (types of video and
audio). The
player
will
auto-update
if you are not behind a firewall and the stream is being viewed either
in the player or the browser. Use the Webcast
Test Page to force an
auto-update or determine if you can watch the type of event you wish
to view.
Windows 95 and Nt 4 users cannot run the codecs for Windows Media Player
9 or later.
Macintosh users will need to download the Windows Media Player.
The codec required for your webcast
